	THE 5th HANGEUL DESIGN PROJECT
《한글박물관 글자감각》

	국립한글박물관 제5회 한글실험프로젝트〈글(자)감(각): 쓰기와 도구〉의 공간과 가구 및 집기를 디자인하였습니다.
마음스튜디오는 ‘한글을 재해석한 글자의 쓰기’라는 주제를 공간적으로 풀어내기 위해‘종이’를 핵심 콘셉트로 설정하였습니다.
23팀의 작가와 디자이너가 각자의 도구로 남긴 ‘쓰기의 흔적’은 종이라는 매개를 통해 기록되고 전달합니다. 이때 종이가 지닌 질감과 형태는 전시의 중요한 서사적 요소로 작용합니다.
공간 구성은 ‘종이’의 물성을 기반으로 전개합니다. 넓은 면은 작품에 대한 집중도를 높이고, 얇은 두께는 제한된 공간에서도 쾌적한 동선을 만듭니다. 이를 통해 전체 맥락을 유기적으로 연결하고, 밀도 있는 공간 경험을 구현합니다.
또한 종이는 개인의 생각을 기록하거나 타인에게 전달하는 매개체로서, 그 안에 담긴 ‘마음’을 상징하며“종이로 연결된 쓰기와 마음의 공간으로 기억되길 바랍니다.”

	사람 가족, 고양이 가족 연필
국립한글박물관 제5회 한글실험프로젝트
〈글(자)감(각): 쓰기와 도구〉의 작가로 참여하여 만든 연필입니다.
연필은 함께 쓰는 즐거움이라는 콘셉트로 재료의 감촉과 형태에 주목하여, 글자를 적고 마음을 전달하는 매개로서의 연필을 재해석하였습니다. 아빠, 엄마, 고양이 연필 사이사이에 아이와 아기 고양이 연필이 들어가 있는 형태를 통해 가족이 연결된 모습을 직관적으로 형상화하였으며, 함께 나누고 쓰는 순간의 마음을 담았습니다.
마음스튜디오는 우리 모두가 서로 연결되어 있어야 마음을 전할 수 있으며, 그때 비로소 진정한 ‘쓰기’가 가능해진다고 믿고 있습니다.

국립한글박물관 제5회 한글실험프로젝트 
〈글(자)감(각): 쓰기와 도구〉의 체험존에 사용되는 펜에 대한 이야기입니다.


글을 쓰는 행위를 떠올릴 수 있도록, 서로 다른 다섯 가지 형태의 펜을 구성하였습니다. 이 펜들은 일반적인 필기구와 달리 파지가 편하지 않아 안정적인 글쓰기가 쉽지 않습니다. 이러한 불편한 경험을 통해, 삐뚤빼뚤한 글씨일지라도 마음을 전하는 데에는 차이가 없다는 의미를 담고자 하였습니다.

	Tokyo toy museum Seoul(도쿄장난감미술관서울) “사람이 처음 만나는 예술품은 장난감이다“ 이 메시지는 1984년 최초의 장난감 미술관 설립 당시에 도출한, 일본의 장난감 미술관의 지향점과 존재 이유가 담긴 핵심 필로소피 입니다. 마음스튜디오는 나무 장난감으로 가득한 놀이 공간, 도쿄장난감미술관서울을 맡았습니다.1984년 개관 이후 일본 전역 14개 지점을 운영해 온 도쿄장난감미술관이 이제 서울에서 이야기를 시작합니다.이야기는 한강에서 시작됩니다.중앙을 가로지르는 강 위로 네 그루의 나무가 솟아 있고, 아이들은 강을 자유롭게 유영하다 원하는 나무 안으로 들어가 놀이를 발견합니다. 그 속에는 아이들만 있는 것이 아니라 다람쥐와 새, 애벌레, 곤충 등 다양한 생물들과 함께 어울려 살아갑니다. 땅과 나무, 사람과 자연이 모두 이어져 있음을 보여주는 장면입니다.
도쿄장난감미술관은 ‘목육(木育)’을 바탕으로, 나무와 손이 맞닿는 교감을 소중히 여깁니다. 나무를 심어 자연을 기르면 자라난 나무는 아이들을 기를 수 있는 순환이 담긴 철학을 이야기합니다. 마음스튜디오는 이 생각을 이어받아 손끝에서 발끝까지 피부가 닿는 모든 요소를 나무의 질감으로 담아냈습니다. 다양한 수종이 가진 숨결은 아이들의 촉각을 깨우고, 공간을 경험하는 모두에게 온기를 전합니다.딱딱하지만 가장 따뜻한 재료, 나무 속에서 아이들은 작은 도전을 이어가며 서로 교감합니다. 이곳은 단순한 놀이 공간을 넘어, 감각이 만나는 특별한 장소입니다.현대백화점 천호점에서 앞으로 2년 동안, 아이들의 웃음과 성장을 응원하는 도쿄장난감미술관서울을 만나실 수 있습니다.
Tokyo Toy Museum Seoul“The very first artwork we encounter in life is a toy.”Maum Studio has created a play space filled entirely with wooden toys: Tokyo Toy Museum Seoul.Since its opening in 1984, the Tokyo Toy Museum has operated 14 branches across Japan, and now its story continues here in Seoul.
This story begins with the Han River.At the center flows the river, with four great trees rising above it. Children swim freely along the water, discovering playful adventures inside the trees. There, they are not alone—squirrels, birds, caterpillars, and insects live together as well. It is a scene that reminds us that land, trees, people, and nature are all connected.
The Tokyo Toy Museum is rooted in the philosophy of Mokuiku (木育), which treasures the tactile bond between wood and the human hand. Planting a tree nurtures nature, and in turn, that tree nurtures children through playthings. Building on this philosophy, Maum Studio has shaped every element—from toes to fingertips—with the texture of wood. The breath of diverse tree species awakens children’s senses, bringing warmth to everyone who experiences the space.Within wood—hard yet the warmest of materials—children face small challenges and learn to connect with one another. This is more than a play space; it is a place where senses and nature come together.For the next two years at Hyundai Department Store, Cheonho,you can discover Tokyo Toy Museum Seoul, a place that celebrates children’s laughter and growth.

《초록초록마을을 구해줘!》
	오늘날 우리의 농촌은 큰 변화를 겪고 있습니다. 인구는 줄어들고 젊은 사람들은 도시로 떠나며, 남은 마을 주민들은 점점 고령화되어 오랫동안 이어져 온 농촌의 정체성과 소중한 자원들마저 사라질 위기에 놓여있습니다.
이제는 농촌의 모습을 새롭게 재구성하고, 남아 있는 자원들을 지켜내면서 모두가 함께 살아갈 수 있는 지속가능한 발전의 길을 찾아야 합니다.

국립농업박물관의 상설전시《초록초록마을을 구해줘!》는 지속가능한 우리 농촌을 위해 만들어졌으며, 점점 회색빛이 되어가는 마을이 다시 알록달록 색을 되찾아 가는 회복의 과정을 담고 있습니다.&#38;nbsp;
As rural communities face population decline, aging residents, and the loss of long-held identities, the need for sustainable futures has become increasingly urgent.

Save the Green Green Village!, a permanent exhibition at the National Museum of Agriculture, tells the story of a village recovering its color and vitality—transforming from gray back into a vibrant, living environment.

MAUM STUDIO led the visual direction of the exhibition, designing the key visual, motion graphics, game graphics, and a comprehensive graphic system. The studio also produced various graphic applications, including invitations, a storybook, and exhibition merchandise.
